Youth Development Programs - 2021
Watch this page for new Youth Development Programs replacing Junior Gardener Summer Camp. We are hoping to debut our programs in 2021 when Covid-19 restrictions permit us to start.
Junior Gardener Summer Camp - 2020
Our annual Junior Master Gardener’s Camp adapted varying horticultural subjects, methods, and techniques for ages 9 thru 12 during a weeklong camp filled with outdoor and indoor learning activities utilizing our Demonstration Garden and Ellington property.
It was originally thought Jr Camp could continue this year but in light of the extension of Covid-19 restrictions we are cancelling Jr Camp for 2020. This has been a very hard decision to make. 2020 would have been our 18th year to inspire curiosity in the outdoors. All currently enrolled campers will receive a full supply fee refund in the mail soon.
While we are unable to continue with our face to face camp, please be aware there are online Jr Camp type learning resources available, which you can access for free. The one we are including is underway so check it out. There are supplies you will need to gather in advance of each session.
Stay safe!
