Tennessee Smart Yards follow principles that keep our land and water healthy. We’ll walk and talk while we tally up the points towards Smart Yards certification for the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center campus.
You’ll learn yard and gardening tips, come away with a mostly-certified Smart Yard, and instructions on how to complete the certification process. Everyone will leave with a free sample of Nashville Water Services’ Music City Gold sustainable, natural, slow-release fertilizer and one person will win a door prize of a 25# bag of fertilizer.
