Age level: Adults, 13 and older.

Trees can be identified any time of year using twigs—one year’s growth. Naturalists will explain buds, scales, lenticels and other twig parts to help you identify twigs; then we’ll go outside to discuss how twigs contribute to the overall shape of the tree.
