TEC Stratford HS Pollinator Garden

From Tennessee Environmental Council:

In April we are planning to add new Monarch butterfly attracting wildflower gardens and also Humming bird attracting gardens to build feeding and nesting habitat for pollinators. We have planned several Pollinator Garden events for April and the registrations are now open.

You will be engaged in the following activities (dress accordingly):

  • light weed-pulling
  • transplanting native flowers
  • spreading soil and seeds
  • helping install fencing around the gardens

TEC provides water (please bring your reusable water bottle) and snacks, and if you forget your garden gloves, we got you covered.  Feel free to bring your own garden tools (rake, hoe, wheelbarrow, shovel, etc.), and be sure to dress for the garden.
