Join Jeremy Lekich, co-founder and worker-owner of Nashville Foodscapes, for a plant walk through Ellington Agricultural Center to learn about all the wonderful plants that live all around and amongst us. We’ll start with a brief conversation about the basics of food-scaping and permaculture, highlight some of the unique features of our greater eco-region, and then walk through Ellington fields and gardens to discover the edible and medicinal plants that we may pass every day without fully noticing. We will touch on how to integrate these plants into our home landscapes and how they benefit us and the greater ecosystem.
