Earn & Learn at the Demo Garden

Demonstration Garden: Join me, Alisa Huntsman (2008), in the Demonstration Garden on Saturday, March 17 at 10am (weather permitting), get started in gardening and earn your first 2 hours of Continuing Education Credits towards certification!  We will start things off with learning how to site your garden by exploring the 8000 square foot space that makes up the Demonstration Garden. 

Bring your smart phone (or a compass) and learn how to pick just the right spot to build your garden.  Of course, once you know where to build it, you will need to know how!  We will also explore the many options and methods for building garden beds of all kinds.  Be sure to dress in layers, wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to get a little dirty. 

Bring water to drink and a snack if you like.  To find us, use the physical address of the Central Region Office, 5201 Marchant Drive, Nashville, 37211 and park in the lot next to the building, you will need to walk around to the back side of the building to find the garden which is where we will meet.  Please email me to confirm attendance, ahuntsman@bellsouth.net
