  • A Virtual Tour

See sustainable gardening practices that you can recreate during this virtual visit to a TN Smart Yard.

Tennessee Smart Yards are diverse and can be all sizes and types. The one thing they have in common are sustainable practices that protect our neighborhood creeks, streams, and rivers from polluted rain runoff.

Join us on a virtual tour of the Nashville Metro Water Services demonstration garden. See how an entire Tennessee Smart Yard can exist in two, 4' x 8' raised beds in the middle of an industrial area.

Learn how you can certify your own yard as a Tennessee Smart Yard by adopting environmentally-friendly practices.
